Hailed as the next Michael Buble, Yorkshire-born, singer-songwriter AJ Brown, is fast becoming recognised as one of the most exciting new musical talents in the U.K. He has worked alongside some of the most impressive household names in music, including Sir Tom Jones, Burt Bacharach, George Benson, Simply Red, Billy Ocean and Jools Holland, creating a buzz in the industry and providing a platform for AJ to collaborate with some of the hottest producers in the world. AJ has performed at several of the top jazz festivals in the world, such as the Wigan International Jazz Festival, Edinburgh Jazz Festival, Cork Jazz Festival, the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown and at venues such as the London Palladium, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and the Royal Albert Hall to name a few.
Don’t miss AJ when he teams up with some of Cape Town’s most exciting jazz musicians, namely Andrew Lilley on piano, Dan Shout on saxophone, Sibusiso Matsimela on double bass and Unity Mzi on drums. The band will perform a mix of classic jazz Standards, soul and original compositions.
